One in four people will suffer some form of mental illness within their lives and one in seven people are suffering from mental illness at the moment. This means that either ourselves or someone we know will have suffered mental ill health, will be suffering mental ill health or will suffer mental ill health at some time in the future. InterAct provides‘practical' support mechanisms to those who wish to get over their mental health problems and move on in their lives – we help others tohelp themselves by providing them with the tools and skills to join inactivities within their community whether that be work, learning,volunteering or regaining their self-confidence and self-esteem.

InterAct also works to encourage the ‘inclusion' of people with learning disabilities and difficulties into everyday activities within their communities including work, education, volunteering or building the confidence to travel to and from work or college or live independently in their own homes.   THIS IS WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP TO RAISE VITAL FUNDS – TO ENSURE THAT INTERACT CAN CONTINUE TO HELP OTHERS TO HELP THEMSELVES – NOW AND IN THE FUTURE
