InterAct Partners with Roots Allotments to Grow Community Connections

InterAct is delighted to announce our new partnership with Roots Allotments. 🌱

Last Friday, we hosted a special event at our allotment, joined by our Patrons, Trustees, staff, and some of the local families we support. Ben from Roots Allotments led an engaging introduction session for our young people, answering their questions and sparking real excitement about the growing journey ahead.

From now on, our youth clubs and 19–25 year old Together Club members will be putting our “patch” to good use – planning, sowing, and growing a variety of vegetables and herbs. These will later be harvested and incorporated into our healthy eating sessions during club nights.

But this project is about so much more than just food. By working alongside the Roots community, our club members will gain valuable life skills, build friendships, and strengthen connections within the local area.

This partnership represents an exciting new way for InterAct to support young people in learning, growing, and thriving – together.
